Field system in Kilcooley is a field system in Kilcooley, County Roscommon, Ireland. It occupies a broad low hill north of the church site and graveyard. A rectangular grass-covered platform sits north of the graveyard, bounded by scarps and earthen banks on its north and west sides. A wide southwest-northeast roadway with earthen banks extends northeast from the enclosure in interrupted sections for about 450 metres.
On a broad low hill N of the church site of Kilcooley (RO028-046001-). North of the graveyard (RO028-046002-) is a rectangular enclosure visible as a grass-covered platform (dims 44m E-W; 23m N-S) defined by scarps (at W: H 0.3m) with a bank (Wth 3-3.5m; int. H 0.2m; ext. H 0.5m-0.8m) on the N and W sides. Immediately to the N of this a SW-NE roadway (RO028-046004-) (Wth 12m) defined by earthen banks (Wth 3.5-4.5m; int. H 0.3-0.8m; ext.
