What is recorded here
On a SE-facing slope of rising ground in undulating countryside with good views from S to E. A poorly preserved enclosure consisting of a circular area (diam. 46m SE-NW; 45m SW-NE) enclosed by a much degraded scarp (H 0.5m), fosse (Wth 3m; ext. d 0.25m) and possible external bank (Wth 4m; H 0.4m) visible from N to E only. This bivallate ringfort has been ploughed over for many years giving it a severely degraded profile.
