On steep E-facing slope on range of N-S hills on W side of valley. Monument situated approx. half way between the valley floor and the hill top. Good views across valley to N, E and S to low hills. Poor view to W where land rises steeply. Circular area (int. diam. 22m) enclosed by an earthen bank with grass-covered boulders (Wth 2m; int. H 0.35m; ext. H 0.7m) and an external fosse (Wth 3m; D 0.4m). Original entrance not visible. Interior level.
