What is recorded here
Carlingford Liberties still holds a circular hut site five and a half metres wide, buried beneath a thin bank of earth and stone at the centre of a ringfort. That small ring may have marked a dwelling, a workshop or a place of pride, while the larger fort watched the land beyond.
Circular hut site (diam. 5.5m) defined by earth and stone bank (H 0.1-0.4m) at centre of interior of ringfort (LH005-021001-).
