Hut site in Erneen

In heather-clad rough hill pasture, on the E bank of a river, on the S-facing slopes of Barrerneen. The remains of a circular hut site (diam. 3.2m) defined by a grass-covered drystone wall (T 0.5m; H 0.2m). The S portion of the interior is raised (H 0.4m) and the N portion is cut (D 0.2m) into the upslope to compensate for the hillslope. There is another hut site (KE103-035001-) c. 80m to the NW and an enclosure (KE103-035004-) c. 20m to the S.
