Hut site in Erneen

In rough hill pasture, on the S-facing slopes of Barrerneen and within a network of relict field boundaries (KE103-017003-). The remains of an oval hut site (4.6m E-W; 2.8m N-S) defined by a collapsed drystone wall (T 0.6m; H 0.4m) which protrudes above the bog surface. The wall is best preserved NE-S. Two boulders are incorporated into the wall at N. The interior is cut into the upslope at N to compensate for the hillslope. Another hut site (KE103-017002-) is c. 60m to the SE.
