Within a ringfort (WI038-014----) which is situated at a break in a marked SE-facing slope. This is one of three hut sites in the interior. It is located in the SE quadrant and an angle formed by a step down into the ground (D 0.4m) marks the NW (L 3.5m) and NE (L 9m) sides of the hut site with boulder edging along the NE side. There two other hut sites (WI038-014001-; WI038-014003-) in the interior, in the NW and NE quadrants respectively. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wicklow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
