Hut site in An Bhinn Bhán (uíbh Ráthach)

National Monument No. 10068. In wet, boggy pasture on the W shore of Lough Currane and about 20m W of a caher (KE098-036----). A circular corbelled hut incorporating some large blocks in its drystone construction. Entrance passage at E is 1.1m wide. Two sheepfolds occupy the interior of the hut, and much stone collapse abuts its external wall-face. D: 5.6m x 5.3m. H: .9m. T: 2.35m. The above description is derived from A. O'Sullivan and J.
