Pair of semi-detached four-bay single-storey local authority houses, built c. 1940, now private houses. Hipped tiled roofs with rendered chimneystacks. Painted roughcast rendered walls with cast-iron rainwater goods. Square-headed window openings with two-over-two-pane timber sliding sash windows, having one tripartite window to each front elevation. Square-headed door openings with timber battened and glazed doors. Detached outdoor toilets to rear. Gardens to front and rear, having rubble limestone and rendered boundary walls.

This is a well-preserved example of a pair of semi-detached local authority houses. The simple solid style of the pair is characteristic of the area. The houses retain their original form and fabric such as timber sash windows, tiled roof and doors. The pair is a valuable part of the architectural and social history of the area.
