Mound in Granny is a mound in Granny, County Roscommon, Ireland. It appeared only on the 1914 OS 6-inch map as a low eight-metre mound of earth and stone on a gentle southeast-facing slope. Reclaimed pasture now covers the ground where Rath sits one hundred and fifty metres to the south-southeast.
Marked only on the 1914 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and situated on a gentle SE-facing slope. Described as a low overgrown mound of earth and stone (diam. c. 8m) (Gannon 1972). It is not now visible at ground level in reclaimed pasture. Rath (RO010-052----) is c. 150m to the SSE. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010
