Freestanding single-bay three-stage reinforced concrete water tower, c.1960, on an octagonal plan with advanced collecting tank over having concrete coping. Set back from road in grounds shared with Saint Otteran’s Hospital.

An interesting structure, composed entirely of reinforced concrete, and which clearly expresses the method of construction on the exterior. Of technical and civil engineering interest on account of its intended function, the water tower also serves as a landmark in the locality, soaring above the surrounding landscape.
