
What is recorded here
Archaeological monitoring (07N0221) of an extensive area recorded one hearth as an oval area (dims. c. 2.4m x c. 1.9m; D 0.12m) filled with black soil and stone but the surrounding subsoil was fire-reddened (dims. c. 3.5m x c. 3m). A single thumbnail scraper was recovered. (Hurley et al. 2007)
