Indicated is a stony crannog floating at the sharp northern edge of Gortermore Lough, thirty metres from the shore. Its small mound holds one buried timber, while broken logs circle the base like a forgotten fence. A narrow causeway still points toward the land, inviting footsteps that may have stopped centuries ago.

Located at the NE apex of the triangular Gortermore Lough (max. dims c. 570m NE-SW; c. 400m NW-SE at W), c. 30m from the N shore. This is an overgrown, kidney-shaped, stony island (dims 12m N-S; 11m E-W; H 0.6m) surrounded by timber logs lying at the water's edge at S. A causeway (L 10m) extends N from the island, and a single timber can be seen in the mound at the centre.
