On a NNE-facing slope of rising ground in an upland area overlooking Cahernahallia River to the NW, with a ringfort (TS050-004----) c. 200m to the S. A raised circular area (int. OS 6-inch map diam. c. 27m N-S; c. 31m E-W) enclosed by a poorly preserved earthen bank (top Wth 1.8m; base Wth 4m; ext. H 1.5m at N; int. H 0.2m) best visible at N and elsewhere reduced to a scarp (H 0.5m), with an external fosse (Wth 2.5m; ext. D 1m) best preserved from SW to W. A field boundary intersects the enclosing scarp from S to E on a NE-SW axis.
