Standing stone in Glentane rises two metres above the hilltop pasture, leaning slightly west like a tired sentinel. Its irregular sub-rectangular body casts a long shadow across the grass, marking the passage of the sun. Bedding stones peek from the base, proving the ground itself helped shape the monument. The stone has watched the hill for centuries, waiting for people to remember why it stands.
