What is recorded here

Indicated is a fairy fort in the garden north of Ballytrasna house, holding a circular space thirty metres wide within an earthen bank still standing two metres high. A man-made passage runs beneath the southern edge, inviting wonder about what hidden hands dug or destiny marked there. Trees have since broken through the interior, softening the ancient line into something alive rather than abandoned.

In garden to N of Ballytrasna house. Circular area (30.9m N-S) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 1.4m; max. ext. H 2.1m) SSW->ENE, stone faced internally; low bank topped by stone wall S->SSW. Shed built on line of bank to SSE. Interior surface cut up by machinery. Trees planted in immediate area to N, S and W, some remains in interior.
