Six horseshoe mounds of fire-cracked stone emerged in 2018 when marshy ground was drained, revealing a linear kitchen along a hidden stream. People likely heated water for cooking or bathing in that wet place, leaving behind charcoal-rich soil and broken rock. The flat landscape once concealed a busy row of ancient fires, now visible only because modern work removed the mud that swallowed them.

In flat, low-lying terrain on a slight rise of ground immediately NE of a stream, now covered, running NW-SE. Ground formerly very wet and marshy but reclaimed early summer 2018 when the field was drained and seeded with grass. This and five other fulachta fiadh (KK008-203----; KK008-204----; KK008-205----; KK008-206----; KK008-208----) were exposed during the reclamation work. They form a roughly linear alignment along the NE bank of the stream. Located 18m SE of KK008-206---- and 60m NW of KK008-208----. A classic horseshoe-shaped mound (dims. 16m N-S; 16m E-W; H 0.55m above probable trough area; H above ext. 0.38) of fire-cracked stone within charcoal rich. Trough area to the S of the mound.
