In rough hill pasture, on a S-facing slope, in the valley of the Coomeelan stream and within a network of relict field boundaries (KE103-049002-). A grass-covered oval mound (6m N-S; 3m E-W; H 0.3m) of burnt material protrudes above the surface of the bog on the W bank of a stream. The mound material is exposed at E. A fulacht fia (KE103-049003-) lies c. 25m to the N. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry.
