Corner-sited semi-detached two-bay two-storey with attic house, built c. 1800, now disused, forming one of pair with house to west. Pitched slate roof with rendered chimneystack. Rendered walls. Square-headed openings having margined four-over-pane timber sliding sash windows with concrete sills, sills to first floor forming part of render sill course continuous to both houses. One window to ground floor boarded up. Square-headed attic window to east gable with fixed timber window. Square-headed door opening, now boarded up, having overlight with decorative spoked overlight detail and render surround comprising fluted pilasters, console brackets and cornice, with rendered step.

This building, together with its pair, occupies a prominent site at the corner of Chapel Hill and McCurtain Street. It retains notable features such as the margined timber sash windows and decorative overlight and the façade is enlivened by the continuous sill course and decorative door surround, which lend elegance to the modestly sized and detailed building.
