On a level landscape. Described as a D-shaped area defined by an earthen bank and outer fosse (dims 30m N-S; 28.3m E-W) (Gannon 1972). Rath (RO029-018001-) was attached to the W, and cut the perimeter of this site at W. It is no longer visible at ground level. Raths (RO028-019----; RO028-020----) are c. 190m and c. 210m to the NE respectively.
