On a gentle SE-facing slope. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 38m E-W; 35m N-S) defined by an earthen bank (at N: Wth 4m; int. H 0.6m; ext. H 1m) and hedge which was incorporated into a field bank SSE- SW, and a shallow fosse (Wth of base c. 2m; D 0.3m). There is an entrance (Wth 2.5m) at ENE. Rath (RO029-068----) is c. 180m to the ENE.
