What is recorded here

Fargrim holds a circular earthen platform thirty metres across at the top of a broad ridge, marked by a shallow fosse and grassy surface. Another rath sits one hundred metres to the northwest, suggesting a small cluster of occupied or defended places rather than a lonely marker. The entrance has vanished under soil and time, but the shape remains clear enough to imagine people moving through it, watching the flat land beyond.

Situated at the highest point of a broad E-W drumlin ridge. This is a grass and rush-covered circular earthen platform (diam. 30.5m E-W; 29.5m N-S; H 0.6-0.8m) defined by a fosse (Wth of top 3.9-5.35m; Wth of base 0.6-1m; ext. D 0.35-0.45m). The original entrance is not identified. Rath (LE032-022----) is c. 100m to the NW. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Leitrim' compiled by Michael J.
