Detached eight-bay single-storey former national school, built in 1891, now vacant. Pitched slate roof with over-sailing eaves with timber brackets, terracotta ridge tiles and cast-iron roof vents to ridge. Roughcast rendered walls with cast-iron rainwater goods. Cast-iron vents to walls. Timber casement windows with tooled limestone sills and timber battened door with overlight. Date plaque to front elevation.
This modest school is enhanced by the retention of several original features and materials such as slate roof, timber windows and cast-iron vents. It is testimony to the educational history of Drumsna and is of social and architectural importance.
