Fosse (Wth 5.2m; D 0.15m) only visible NNW-NNE and has been backfilled elsewhere leaving a soft, poorly drained area SE-NNW. Interior has an uneven surface; distinctive raised area (dims. 13m N-S; 10m E-W) off-centre to E, at field boundary, may be a possible house site. Monument is truncated by a field boundary (long-axis NNW-SSE) across E-sector. Monument is cut by a wide fosse-like feature (long axis SW-NE) (Wth 6.35m; D 0.7-1.75m) across NW-sector, which may be a later drainage feature as it continues into field to ENE as shown on an aerial photograph (GSI May 1977, R.533/2; G.S.I. 16-4-1974 R.518/517). Enclosures (TS066-057----, TS066-055---- and TS066-058) are 90m to E, 130m to N and 170m to SSW respectively.
