Fairy fort in Shanavoher, County Cork. Circular earthwork about twenty-one metres across on a south-facing pasture slope. Mapped in 1842, levelled by 1934, and gone from sight since. Whatever lived there stopped casting a shadow long before anyone stopped remembering it.

In pasture, on S-facing slope. Depicted as hachured circular enclosure (diam. c. 21m) on 1842 OS 6-inch map. Levelled; no visible surface trace. Recorded by Bowman (1934, 566) as levelled single-ramparted fort (diam. c. 25yd) on D. Ryan's land. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
