What is recorded here

Marley holds a broken double ring on a sunny ridge, its inner bank stretching north to south while an outer wall disappears beneath modern stone. The gap at the bottom may be human haste or fairy mischief, but the land still marks the shape of a life that stopped being seen.

On S-facing slope of a ridge in grassland. Poorly preserved subcircular rath (N-S 63m, E-W 60m) defined by two banks and an intervening fosse. The inner bank survives from N through S to WNW; elsewhere a scarp forms the enclosing element. The outer bank is extant from NE through E to SSE, and is overlain by a field wall at ESE. No visible surface trace survives elsewhere. A gap at S appears modern Two ringforts (GA029-121----, GA029-123----) lie c. 20m to N and c. 150m to ESE respectively.
