What is recorded here

Situated on E facing slope of a natural rise in undulating grassland, with views restricted by surrounding higher ground. Ringfort (WM012-115----) 90m to N, unclassified castle (WM012-114---)120m to W. A raised circular-shaped area (approx. diam. 31m N-S; 32m E-W) enclosed by well preserved earthen bank and external fosse. The bank is substantial from SW-W-N and is almost reduced to a scarp elsewhere. The fosse is best preserved from SSW-W-NNW. The interior slopes gradually to the E. Post 1700 field fences intersect the perimeter of the monument at NW and NE (CUCAP AVO061). See attached profile of monument surveyed and drawn by the ASI.
