Situated on a gentle rise of ground in undulating countryside with a nearby ringfort (TN030-040) to the W. A raised circular area (diam. 32m E-W) enclosed by a well-preserved, flat-topped earth and stone bank (Wth 2m; int. H 0.5m; ext. H 1.5m) with an entrance gap (Wth 2.8m) at SE (Stout 1984, 74-5).
