What is recorded here

Situated on the W-facing slope of a low hillock in an undulating upland area with nearby ringfort (TN030-026) to the E. The site consists of a circular area (diam. 25m N-S) enclosed by an earth and stone bank (Wth 1.7m; int. H 0.35m; ext. H 0.8m) with no clear evidence of an entrance feature (Stout 1984, 82). No visible fosse. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Tipperary. Vol. 1 - North Tipperary' compiled by Jean Farrelly and Caimin O'Brien (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2002).
