Fairy fort in Glenbeg, County Cork: a broken earthen arc, 1.5 m high and 25.8 m across, still standing on an ESE-facing slope in rough grazing. The missing part has vanished from the ground, leaving a half-circle that looks less like a ruined fort than like a door swung open. People may have lived inside the complete ring, or the fairies may have taken the other half when the weather turned.

In rough grazing, on ESE-facing slope. Shown as arc of hachures on 1904 and 1935 OS 6-inch maps. Arc consists of earthen bank (H 1.5m) N->S (diam. 25.8m).
