Fargrim is a grass-covered earthen ringfort, thirty-six metres across, set on the south-facing slope of a drumlin ridge in County Leitrim. Its scarp and shallow fosse still mark the boundary, though the road has bitten into the north edge and the true entrance has vanished. People may have lived inside that circle, watched the valley, or simply avoided it because local stories call such forts fairy forts. The earth remembers the shape even when the names and events have faded.

Located towards the top of the S-facing slope at the E end of a broad E-W drumlin ridge, and on the S side of a minor E-W road. This is a grass-covered circular earthen platform (diam. 36.4m N-S; 36m E-W) defined by a scarp (at W: Wth 3.4m; H 0.8m; at NE: Wth 5.4m; H 1.4m), with a fosse (at S: Wth of top 8.8m; Wth of base 2.65m; ext. D 0.25m) NE-S-SW. The original entrance is not identified and the perimeter is slightly truncated by the E-W road bank at N.
