Fairy fort in Drumskerry, County Cavan: a raised circular area, 40.5m across inside, enclosed by a well-preserved earthen bank and a wide, deep, waterlogged fosse. A break in the bank at the southeast, with a partially surviving causeway beside it, presumably marks the original entrance. People may have lived there, barred the causeway at night, and listened for water moving in the dark ditch.
