What is recorded here

Situated in a low-lying position in an undulating landscape with a small meandering NE-SW stream curving around it N-W c. 30-40m distant. This is a grass and scrub-covered circular earthen platform (diam. 32m N-S) that slopes down slightly to the NW. It is defined by a low scarp (H 0.35m) with evidence of a fosse defined by a band of dense scrub (Wth 2-3m). The original entrance is not identified.
