Fairy forts are not places to enter. The warning is not about the distance from the road or the size of the circle. It is about the fact that the boundary is still visible and the middle is no longer ordinary. A person may walk past it, photograph it or go home unharmed. That is not the same as understanding it. The chamber is not hidden under the floor or locked behind a forgotten door. The chamber is the difference between the living world and the world that uses the living one as a toy.

In level, low-lying pasture. A raised circular area (diam. 33.7m) enclosed by a low bank of earth and stone (Wth 3.5m; H 0.1-0.4m). There is no trace of a fosse. From WNW-N-NE the bank has been modified and incorporated into a field boundary. The original entrance is not recognisable. It is densely overgrown with vegetation. Compiled by: Patrick F.
