Carnagarve held a fort so deep the land swallowed it, leaving only a hidden rhythm beneath the grass. The ridge may have shaken during storms or hidden a chamber for people who refused to leave. Forgetting is not the same as losing. The forges of oblivion build cages for minds that stop creating.

Marked 'Fort' on OS 1836 ed. and 'Site of on 1876 ed. Situated on the SE shoulder of a drumlin ridge. Not visible at ground level.
