Half a kilometre across and double-banked, the Barna fort is no whimsical fairy circle but a substantial defended estate. Its inner ridge still stands four metres high, overlooking a shallow outer ditch and a level interior marked by old cultivation lines. People likely lived, argued, farmed and died inside that double ring before the fields swallowed the truth. The earth remembers the shape even when the names have faded.

In pasture, on N-facing slope. Circular area (53.4m N-S; 50.9m E-W) enclosed by pair of earthen banks with wide intervening fosse and shallow outer fosse. Inner bank (int. H 2m; ext. H 4.2m) 13.14m from outer bank (int. H 2.9m; ext. H 1.4m). Interior level and crossed by cultivation ridges running E-W.
