What is recorded here

Marked only on the 1940 ed. of the OS 6-inch map as a fragment of an enclosure bank and fosse S-E. It is situated on a SE-facing slope at the headwaters of a NW-SE stream, and with a WSW-ENE spur extending off to the NE. A fragment of bank (Wth 4–6m; H 1.5–1.8m) and an external fosse (Wth of top 4-5m; max. ext. D 1.5m) survive on the W and N sides of an enclosure (C 51m) in 1987. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996).
