In rolling terrain, under tillage. A roughly circular enclosure (max. diam. c. 35m) showing as a cropmark on an aerial photograph (CUCAP BDL041, 15 July 1970). A field boundary runs roughly ENE-WSW across the monument, S of centre. It is not visible at ground level.
