Saint Patrick's Catholic Church in Garranconnell has grave markers carved with the sort of care that makes you reconsider your own handwriting. A mason could coax all that detail out of stone; I need three attempts and a borrowed pen to get 'Happy Birthday' onto a card.

Attesting to the presence of an earlier chapel (pre-1837; replaced, 1973) on site as indicated by archival editions of the Ordnance Survey, thereby representing the continued long-standing occupation of the grounds a picturesque graveyard contains a collection of cut-stone markers of artistic design significance displaying expert stone masonry.
