Situated on a low natural rise of ground in undulating countryside. A poorly preserved low rise of ground (diam. 15m N-S) defined by a low scarp (H 0.2m) which is intersected at N by a field fence on an E-W axis. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Tipperary. Vol. 1 - North Tipperary' compiled by Jean Farrelly and Caimin O'Brien (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2002).
