Dungummin Upper holds a twenty-six-metre circular fort where earth and stone still form a low bank around a shallow ditch. The original entrance has vanished beneath grass and time, leaving the circle closed to human memory but open to imagination. A modern field boundary presses against its western edge, proving the land around it has changed while the fort itself has waited patiently for someone to notice its shape again.

Raised circular area (int. diam. c. 26m) enclosed by a low bank of earth and stone and a shallow fosse. A modern field boundary runs alongside the perimeter from NW-N-E.
