Single-arch road bridge, built 1848, over the Cork to Blackrock and Passage West railway line. Limestone rusticated bevelled base with ashlar spandrels, abutments, barrel and parapet surmounted by coping with roll moulding. Moulded limestone string course to base and parapet. Blank heraldic shield to northern parapet and date shield to southern parapet.

The design of this bridge, by Joshua Hargrave, is elegant and it is likely that it was given additional finishes, such as ashlar to the main part of the bridge and heraldic shields, because it was built to bridge the line as it went through the land of Dundanion Castle. It forms part of a group with the other surviving railway structures along the former line.
