Graveyard in Drumroe stands on high ground above a river, beside a long rectangular church built from rough limestone and sandstone rubble. Eighteenth and nineteenth-century headstones fill the large burial area, marking generations who chose this elevated spot for death. The rebuilt north wall still shows its base batter, proof that people kept shaping the place long after first construction.

Situated on top of high ground in upland area with river and moatquarter motte in Co. tipperary to N of church and graveyard. Long rectangular church (OF047-009----) built with roughly coursed limestone and sandstone rubble with base batter visible on rebuilt N wall.
