Drumduff holds a faded ring where human hands shaped earth into a circle before memory failed. The western edge has become a field bank and hedge, erasing the boundary between made and natural. A fort is only a room large enough for a life, and rooms do not stop existing when their walls blur.

Situated in reclaimed pasture towards the bottom of a S-facing slope. This is a grass-covered subcircular area (dims 24.5m E-W; 21m N-S) defined by a slight bank (Wth 4m; H 0.1-0.2m) at E and by a scarp (max. H 0.8m) elsewhere, but the perimeter is incorporated into a field bank and hedge W-NNW. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Leitrim' compiled by Michael J.
