Excavation is an excavation (miscellaneous) in Dromore, County Waterford, Ireland. R.A.S.Macalister archaeologically investigated the Burial Ground at Cill Tire and uncovered an interior pit about 3 metres across and 1.8 metres deep. The pit contained iron slag that might be recent.
The Burial Ground at Cill Tire (WA029-042002-) was archaeologically investigated by R.A.S.Macalister (1935b), and a pit (diam. c. 3m; D c. 1.8m) with iron slag (WA029-042008-), which might be recent, was uncovered in the interior.
