What is recorded here

Dallán is a 1.7m standing stone in County Cork pasture, leaning slightly south-southwest on a gentle west-facing slope. It resisted mapping in 1842 and 1905, remaining absent from official records while pasture and weather continued around it. Its irregular shape and diagonal axis suggest human placement rather than natural collapse, though no named event or date remains attached.

Not marked on 1842 and 1905 OS 6-inch maps. In pasture, on gentle W-facing slope. Stone (H 1.7m; 0.8m x 0.8m) is irregular in plan and leaning slightly to SSW, long axis NE-SW.
