What is recorded here
This togher (L 4.3m min.; Wth 4m; D 0.5m), noted in 1988, was orientated NE-SW and consisted of a wide band of very irregularly laid brushwood and roundwood. Occasional pegs were randomly inserted throughout the structure for stability. Radiocarbon dated to 1260-1004 BC (2930±35 BP, GrN-16630) (Raftery 1996, Derryoghil 26, 154).
