What is recorded here
On a W-facing slope of rising ground in an upland region overlooking Gortnageragh river valley to the W, with a ring-barrow (TS044-004----) 220m to the S and a possible enclosure (TS044-002----) 800m to the NW. The enclosure was identified on an aerial photograph (GSI R. 306/5, 08/04/74). The field boundaries to the N and E have been removed. The enclosure is not visible at ground level.
