Gallán is a fallen standing stone in County Cork, Ireland. It lies embedded in a field fence on a NE-facing slope, measuring 2.72m long, 1.76m wide and 0.6m high. The stone disappeared from the 1842 and 1904 OS 6-inch maps, yet it still marks the edge of a working field. People may have walked past it for generations, seeing a fence post rather than a monument.
