Cross in Cully

Cully lost its cross before human memory began. The base and a window mullion survived, carried into Drumreilly's Church of Ireland building, where fifteenth-century stone still touches the world. What the whole cross showed, which hand raised it, and what it marked are gone. The remaining parts refuse to release the place, holding Cully inside a shape that can no longer be completed.
